Philadelphia 76ers forward Phil Hill is in a serious condition after suffering a torn ACL and MCL during a preseason game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.
Hill, who has not played since suffering the injury during the Philadelphia 76er’s exhibition loss to the Miami Heat on Oct. 7, was seen being carried off the court in a stretcher.
The 76ers said he was being evaluated by the team’s medical staff.
The team said the surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews.
Hill had 16 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists in 20 minutes in his return to the lineup.
The Sixers, who have lost seven straight games, have lost four of five.
Hill has scored 19 points or more in three of his last four games.
