Pho is the national dish of Vietnam, and there are some restaurants in the country that are famous for it.
This is where I was lucky to discover Pho Long.
If you want to learn more about this great Vietnam dish, you should definitely give it a try.
Pho with pho is a traditional Vietnamese noodle dish that is often served with rice, beef or pork.
I was also a fan of Pho Haus, which is a dish I had never heard of before but it’s really good.
Here’s how to make pho with rice.
Ingredients 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 cup water 1 large onion, diced 1 small carrot, diced 2 garlic cloves, minced 2-3 medium sweet potato, peeled and diced 1 cup cooked rice 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 1/4 teaspoon coriander seeds 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/3 cup rice vinegar (optional) Directions Place the soy sauce, water, onion, carrot, garlic, sweet potato and rice in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes or until the onion is soft.
Add the spices, salt and pepper and simmer until the rice is tender.
Taste for salt and add more salt to taste if needed.
Remove the heat from the heat and stir in the vinegar.
Taste again and add additional salt if necessary.
Serve immediately with rice and a spoonful of chili sauce.
Recipe Notes If you don’t have soy sauce in your pantry, use brown rice vinegar instead.
